A Houston start-up company called Mixie is the newest social club where members get free food, drinks, and exclusive invites to monthly events. This month they hosted the Afterlife Soiree at the trendy Chapman and Kirby lounge. Everyone was dressed in cocktail attire and treated to complimentary champagne. I brought my decadent pure white silks and performed with massive ostrich feather wings. I definitely felt like a supernatural goddess with such an extravagant costume provided by Lady L Entertainment. Joining Mixie just requires downloading the app and paying a subscriber’s fee. It seemed like half the city had subscribed and were enjoying every minute of the Afterlife experience. I sure was!
