Getting sent to the “old folks home” doesn’t mean what it used to. These days, seniors are enjoying their golden years in style. The Delaney at South Shore is a 5-star facility that feels more like a cruise ship or an island resort. I performed on silks while a steel drum band played tropical music. The seniors watched the show while eating delicious food and desserts prepared by a private chef. The facility has independent living, assisted living, and memory care to accommodate all the different needs of the residents. The entire staff are so passionate about making The Delaney a wonderful experience. Everyone knew each other’s names and the whole place seemed just like a big family. It was such a privilege to perform there and I hope to be back as often as possible.
